1. What should every person try at least once in their life?

To follow what might seem like your craziest dream, because it may end up coming true!

2. What brings you the greatest joy?

Seeing my children grow up; I love watching them grow into who they’re supposed to be.

3. What brings you the greatest satisfaction?

Aside from my family, I’d have to say creating products for my fans. I’m always convinced that a new product idea will resonate as it always comes from a need I have – a need my customers probably have as well!

4. What is the best advice you’ve been given?

It sounds cliché, but “believe in yourself” and “follow your dreams.” Don’t let anyone stop you from attaining your goals because sometimes, they will take you to places you never even imagined. And when you get there, keep finding the joy in the beautiful nuts and bolts because you are never above it all.

5. Who do you follow on Twitter?

A number of people! From Women Entrepreneur, to Fast Company and Business Insider, to Justin Timberlake and Property Brothers!

6. What is on your bookshelf?

Right now I’m reading Two Kinds of Truth, Michael Connelly’s newest book and I’m loving it! And of course I have my book on my bookshelf, Inventing Joy: Dare to Build a Brave & Creative Life ☺ You can pick it up on HSN or Amazon!

7. What charity do you support?

I have the honor of being a part of the UN Women Champions for Innovation. This amazing group of women helps promote UN Women’s activities that support women’s and girl’s opportunities in areas related to innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. I’m always eager to encourage growth in young women because I wish I had something similar when I was younger.

8. What is on your bucket list?

I wish I could meet all of my fans! I would love to travel the country to meet them and draw inspiration from them to create more products for their needs.

9. What is on your perennial to-do list?

I’ve always dreamed of learning Spanish and Italian, and eventually travelling to those countries and getting to speak it fluently!

10. What are the last three items on your credit card statement?

Baby clothes, baby educational toys and dog toys

11. What item in your closet do you wear the most?

Black workout leggings – they’re just too comfortable!

12. Who are your heroes?

My grandmother was so strong and loving! I always looked up to her because she was positive yet realistic; whenever I hit a road block I always think of her and how strong she was through the up’s and down’s, the Great Depression, and all the other life situations that were thrown at her.

13. Who is on the guest list for your ideal dinner party?

My family – my children and their families.

14. What is your greatest indulgence?

Chocolate!

15. What is on your nightstand?

A candle, clock, family pictures, books and dog treats!

16. What quote do you live by?

I always say that success means different things to different people; success isn’t an end point, it’s only the beginning.

17. What is the best gift you’ve ever received?

The Miracle Mop prototype!

18. What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

I am an avid skier – I trained for competitions as a young girl and teenager. Now I just ski for pleasure with my family and friends.

19. What is your beauty secret?

(skipped)

20. What is one thing you wish you knew when you were younger?

That it’s OK to fail – when I first started, I hear no a lot. But then I realized, finding a way around the no makes you work harder, be better and think deeper. It’s a chance to learn something, reset your thinking and draw motivation. Last but not lease – just keep putting one foot in front of the other; don’t stop!
