    +2! I agree! We shall see…  :amused-cat:

Lady Nine I think they are going to try to spin it so that customers don’t get nervous about which ever one they really shop at and enjoy. I think we will be able to tell if they start changing things up by the products and vendors they bring in along with how the show host are doing the shows. Especially like Colleen and Amy on HSN as they are pretty distinguished in how they do their shows and Colleen has several of her own lines so we will see how it all goes down over the next couple of months.

I think you’re right, Kitty.

    Good link, Mrs Squeeze

At the same time, I wouldn’t expect the vendors to share any “inside” concerns :teehee:

Here’s what some of the companies on Q (shoe vendors) think:

    Hello Emily!

Welcome! It’s nice to meet you  Are you a QVC or HSN shopper, or both? Any preference between the 2 channels’ style?

Update: I heard QVC biz folks are officially going into HSN in January 2018  :thud:

I hope they don’t change a bunch of stuff from HSN to be like QVC I watch more HSN now than I do QVC due to the changes on the Q.  I don’t care for the new host at all on QVC and HSN is far more updated with styles and shoes.

Wow, do I ever feel out of the loop. Was seeing changes, but had no idea of the scope of things. I have to hope it will mean better choices for us the consumers. We will see soon enough.

Hi Stylish Lady! So good to see you!

Crossing fingers here that their brand personality will remain as-is;  prices over at HSN will not go up; and shipping at both channels will not increase. It’s a lot to hope for!

I have heard rumors that QVC and HSN are not setting the world on fire with sales and they could be filing before you know it.  That is probably why they merged .

CNN’s summary is a good cliffs notes version:  :coffee-read:

“The two television shopping networks have been seeing their sales steadily decline in recent years with the rise of online shopping. But QVC still did $8.7 billion in sales last year, while HSN has revenue of $3.5 billion.”

This Bloomberg article is an easy, insightful read too!

This is really crazy but I thought I heard HSN saying you could use your QVC card to purchase things when I had the TV on HSN last night. Now I might not have heard right.

Well I am not sure that is what I heard so I will be listening also. It was late at night.
